Expectations of the student
It's the student's responsibility to immediately notify Immediate Action Outfitters (IAO) staff that the invoice wasn't received, when they were told to expect it.
If the student is scheduled to take a skills evaluation - it's their responsibility to provide proof-of-completion of the online course (a scanned copy of the certificate, a screen-shot, or a clear, focused photograph are acceptable and are to be emailed to: chris@immediateactionoutfitters.com), ≥72 hours from the start of the skills session. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the class and the student will forfeit all expenses related to the course.
Course Scheduling
Register for classes by calling IAO - at (515) 777-5984. Payment must be made at the time of registration. Payment cannot be accepted on the day of the class. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes can be scheduled for all 7 days/week - 24 hrs/day - depending on availability. Classes scheduled between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, will incur an additional fee – as will classes scheduled between 6:00 p.m., Friday evening and 6:00 a.m., Monday morning.
Course Location
Classes will be held at a location of the client's choosing – providing that there is adequate room to practice lifesaving measures. The location needs to have a TV (with a screen large enough and adequate speaker volume for all of the participants to comfortably see and hear the video) and a DVD player - or a PC with a DVD drive and a monitor/projector/screen large enough and speakers loud enough, for all of the participants to be able to comfortably see and hear the video from their vantage point. If you do not have any of these items, please notify IAO, immediately. If, on the day, of the class – it’s determined that there is a lack of equipment that has not been communicated – the client forfeits all fees.
Mileage
Each and every off-site class will incur a mileage fee at the current IRS business rate.
Course Payment
Courses scheduled with ≥14 days' notice, payment must be made – and clear ≥14 days, prior to the start of the class – or it will be cancelled. The invoice will be emailed to a valid email address – provided, during registration. Payment will be made by utilizing PayPal (send money to chris@immediateactionoutfitters.com) - a convenience fee of 2.9% + $0.30/transaction will be applied.
If scheduling a class with ≤14 days' notice, payment must be received ≥12 hours of the invoice receipt, or the class will be cancelled.
If scheduling multiple classes – all class dates are to be confirmed within 30 days of the registration. No classes will be scheduled after that – nor will any refund be issued.
Note: Course, textbook and merchandise prices are subject to change, without any prior notice.
Required Number of Participants
Unless otherwise stated, course prices are set for ≥4 student minimum. Courses which have ≤3 students will incur an additional fee.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation notice must be provided in-writing, ≥7 days of class to receive a 100% refund - minus the textbook/course manual fees.
Written cancellation notice received 72 hrs and 168 hrs from the start of the class will receive a 50% refund - minus the textbook/course manual fees.
Failure to provide ≤72 hrs written cancellation notice will result in no refund.
Classes can be rescheduled – but must be held within 30 calendar-days of the originally-scheduled class and must be rescheduled with a minimum of 168 hrs – otherwise, a $25.00 admin fee will be assessed.
